This six-week watercolor journey is designed to guide students from the foundational flow of water and pigment to the intricate details of botanical expression. Through gentle structure, skill-building exercises, and blooming confidence, students will learn to work with watercolor, embracing its spontaneity while gaining control. Each week builds on the last, blending technical exercises with creative expression. This class is ideal for beginners who have never picked up a brush, and for intermediate painters seeking to deepen their understanding and loosen their hand.

Students will create music-themed art, explore different genres and the colors and patterns we associate with them, and much more! This week-long summer camp will explore all things related to Nevada and the various landscapes in our great state. Campers will learn about a variety of subjects ranging from desert wildlife to state flowers and even stars and astronomy. They will be able to create masks, clay sculptures, paintings, prints, and stamps. Campers will also engage in collaborative projects that focus on teamwork and compromise. Allow your child to explore various art mediums and delve into the vast artistic subject matter the desert has to offer. Dress comfortably for artistic exploration! Ages: 11-15All supplies included. Using photos of your furry friends as references, you and your family will paint an acrylic masterpiece on canvas, capturing the heartwarming essence of your pet.
