Join us for a family workshop where you and your child will paint a portrait of your favorite animal! We will be painting our portraits in acrylic on 11x14 canvases. While we will have examples to inspire you, the sky is the limit for your imagination in how you choose to portray your animal!

Join us for a mixed-media sculpture series where you will work with a variety of interesting media over four weeks to create unique and dynamic works of 3-dimensional art! From mobiles made of copper sheeting and wire to miniature plant totems and clay sculptures, this series is a great way to get in touch with your creativity and develop your sculpture skills.Ages 14 and up.

This series will immerse you in the world of printmaking, teaching you the fundamentals of carving relief blocks to create detailed, expressive designs! Participants will also learn how to create monotype prints using a mix of gelli plates and textured stencils. Throughout this series, you'll craft unique prints that reflect your personal artistic style, and learn how to transfer your prints to paper and fabric! By the end of the course, you'll have completed four distinctive prints, ready for use in a variety of creative applications for years to come.Ages 14 and up.

This week-long summer camp will explore light and color in a unique way! Using black lights, neon paints, and vibrant colors, students will create work that glows in the dark under UV light! Campers will use black lights in class to watch their designs pop off the page and will go home with a mini blacklight to show friends and family the secret magic in the art they've made. Campers will learn about a variety of subjects ranging from desert wildlife to state flowers and even stars and astronomy. They will be able to create masks, clay sculptures, paintings, prints, and stamps. Campers will also engage in collaborative projects that focus on teamwork and compromise. Allow your child to explore various art mediums and delve into the vast artistic subject matter the desert has to offer. Dress comfortably for artistic exploration! Ages: 11-15All supplies included.
