• Wednesdays: July 16th - July 30th. 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Discover the freedom of abstract painting in this three-session workshop, where you'll create expressive works using acrylic on raw canvas. Through the color staining technique, you'll explore how paint soaks, spreads, and flows, creating organic, dynamic compositions that feel both spontaneous and intentional. In session one, you'll experiment with color theory and mini abstracts to test combinations and techniques. Session two focuses on painting a 16x20 piece, allowing colors to blend and interact freely. In the final session, you'll stretch your raw canvas onto a wooden frame, transforming it into a finished artwork. This technique is fluid, freeing, and fun, perfect for both beginners and experienced artists. There are no rigid rules—just an opportunity to let go, be present, and enjoy the creative process. Many students find it meditative and relaxing, a great way to unwind and connect with their artistic intuition. All supplies included.

Ages 14 and up. Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
