Join us for a mindful art workshop where we will be creating a laminated eye collage! Participants will learn about the power of self-talk and create a laminated eye collage to place on their bathroom mirror. Use it as a daily reminder to look yourself in the eyes and give yourself the love and positive messaging that you've been craving. This is a perfect class for anyone who wants to merge art and creativity with mindfulness and self-love!

Honor your inner child! In this mindfulness workshop, you will use a childhood photo as the base for a fun mixed media collage. Embellish your photograph by adding vibrant colors, rich textures and celebratory symbols.
Participants must provide a childhood photo; it can be an original photo or a black and white photocopy, but should be at least 5"x7" and ideally on thicker paper. Arts for All Nevada would be happy to print a photo for you on cardstock if you email it to [email protected]. Discover books and other resources that can help you get in touch with the child within to stay young at heart while embracing all stages of your life.

Neurographs, developed by psychologist Pavel Piskarev, provide an outlet for difficult feelings as well as a mechanism for softening and calming emotions. Neurographs help create a bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind thus building greater self awareness and grounding. The intuitive nature of this practice makes it ideal for all skill levels, ranging from beginner to advanced level of artists. We'll work with high-quality alcohol inks - perfect for meditative color work and vibrant creative expression.

This class is suitable for all levels of artist.

Join us for another Thursday Painting Class, this time replicating the beautiful marine scene of "Sea Turtle" by Sarah Grangier. Student will learn the basics of color theory and color mixing to achieve the deep blues and organic greens present in this painting, as well as blending techniques, and how to give the illusion of light on a canvas. Participants will leave this class with a masterpiece of their own, ready to hang on their wall!

Marion Rose was an American painter known for her bold colors and whimsical landscapes. In this Thursday Painting Class, we will replicate her painting Vineyard I, a serene scene of rolling hills scattered with rows of grape vines. Participants will learn the basics of color theory, perspective, and brushstroke to paint this unique and beautiful landscape.
