    During this exciting week of summer camp, participants will explore various projects to create art exhibits of their own! Through 2D and 3D projects, kids will create artwork inspired by various art museums. They'll gain hands-on experience with various mixed-media techniques, all while having fun, making new friends, and discovering their own artistic talents! Dress comfortably for artistic exploration! Ages: 6-10

    Learn how to capture the grandeur of the Sierra Nevada Range in this watercolor Landscapes class! Participants will explore painting the diverse biomes of the Sierras, from high desert to alpine meadows, mountains, rivers, and more.   • Summer Creativity Camp: High Des-ART

    This week-long summer camp will explore all things related to Nevada and the various landscapes in our great state. Campers will learn about a variety of subjects ranging from desert wildlife to state flowers and even stars and astronomy. They will be able to create masks, clay sculptures, paintings, prints, and stamps.  Campers will also engage in collaborative projects that focus on teamwork and compromise.  Allow your child to explore various art mediums and delve into the vast artistic subject matter the desert has to offer. Dress comfortably for artistic exploration! Ages: 11-15

  • Family Workshop: Paint Your Pet

    In this family workshop, participants will have the opportunity to create a painting of their beloved pets! Using photos of your furry friends as references, you and your family will paint an acrylic masterpiece on canvas, capturing the heartwarming essence of your pet.   • Thursday Painting Class: Brilliance by Cedar Lee

    August's Thursday Painting class will be inspired by Cedar Lee - a contemporary fine artist based out of Portland, Oregon. Her art is heavily focused on flora and fauna, capturing luminous tree canopies and detailed animal portraits. In this class, we will be using her painting "Brilliance" as inspiration to create our own image of the bright sun shining through columns of trees. Students will learn to paint texture and light through the foundations of acrylic painting. This class is suitable for all levels of artist and will be completed on a 12"x24" canvas, ready to hang on your wall.

  • Pleinair at Idlewild Park
