Summer Creativity Camp: Galactic Explorers
July 8 – 12

Monday-Friday, July 8 - 12. 9:00am-12:00pm
Journey into the celestial mysteries of outer space and the cosmos! Using foundational art and design, students will individually and collaboratively craft cosmic drawings, paintings, and 3-D artworks, all while learning new techniques, making friends, and playing games. Dress comfortably for artistic exploration.
Ages: 6-10

All supplies included. A midmorning snack will be provided. Please note any dietary restrictions.

The camp will be held in the Art Studio, located on the Arlington Avenue side of the Lake Mansion. Park in our free lot off Arlington Avenue and walk down the ramp.

Family Workshop: Faux Stained Glass

This workshop invites families to embark on a colorful artistic journey, exploring the enchanting world of faux stained glass. Under the guidance of our instructor, participants will learn to create stunning 4x6 framed stained glass masterpieces using acrylic paint (no sharp edges here!). Use the myriad of designs and patterns we'll have available, or create your own. Unleash your imagination, experiment with brilliant hues, and take home a radiant piece of art that reflects the shared joy of artistic expression! In this artistic adventure, students will learn to create illustrations inspired by the dynamic world of fashion. Throughout the camp, participants will explore both individual and collaborative art projects, blending realistic anatomical drawing principles with expressive textile techniques. Students will learn how to navigate and incorporate aspects of sustainability and other various constraints to enhance creativity. The camp will culminate in a lively fashion show on the last day, providing a platform for students to showcase their imaginative and skillfully crafted designs!
