  • Art Labs: Illustration & Creative Writing

    In this month's Art Labs, students will learn all about book illustration! Using a variety of visual arts media, students will have the opportunity to explore different genres, illustration styles, imagery, and calligraphy -- inspiring them to develop the style they will use to do some creative writing in class!     This figure drawing class will focus on teaching the basics of anatomy drawing, recognizing landmarks, and using the landmarks to help with drawing from imagination.   • Fall Creativity Camp: Spooky Neon

    Monday-Friday, October 6 - 10.  9:00am - 12:00pm

    Trick or Treat! There are many ways to celebrate our spookiest holiday, and what better way than to celebrate through art? Join us for Halloween in neon-themed art projects that will glow under black lights in fluorescent fashion! At this camp, your child will create masterpieces both individually and as a group, while having fun and making friends along the way! Dress comfortably for artistic exploration, and Halloween costumes are encouraged on Friday, October 10th!

    Learn how to create simple relief prints on foam! In this family workshop, you and your little one will create feathers by cutting shapes out of adhesive foam, and using tools to imprint texture to give a feather effect! You can mix and match your feather print with other students in the class to gather a variety of gorgeous feathers. Your designs will be printed with fabric ink on tea towels to create a work of art with sentimental value and utility at home!
