By learning the process of relief printmaking, you will create a design of your own that you will be able to use for years to come! Each participant will carve a print, and print their design onto a cotton tea towel. Join us for this heartwarming painting adventure where participants are invited to explore and refine their artistic talents by rendering the charm of their pets on canvas! Our instructor will provide step-by-step guidance, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for the whole family. All skill levels are welcome. At the end of class, each participant will proudly possess an 11″ x 14″ portrait of their beloved pet. In this family workshop, participants will learn the art of making paper by hand! Using beautifully intricate molds, the paper will take shape into a delightful ornament or thoughtful gift tag for the holiday season. This workshop requires quite a bit of activity on your feet as you make the paper. Each participant will come away from this class having made 10-12 festive ornaments to bring home!

Fridays: November 1 - November 22. 4:45 PM - 6:45 PM.Looking for something fun and creative for your kids to participate in on a Friday night? This class is intended for preteens to explore various mediums and techniques to create art surrounding the world of bugs! Using scientific approaches, students will learn about the anatomy, adaptations, and function of various insects, arachnids, and more! From 2D drawings and paintings to other mixed media, students will leave this class with their creativity piqued and a wider understanding of these fascinating little creatures.Classes on 11/1, 11/15, 11/22.
