Join us for another Acrylic Painting Class! For Black History Month, we are highlighting Lillian Thomas Burwell, a prominent painter and sculptor renowned for her use of abstraction in her artwork. Her painting "Joy" showcases this interest in the abstract, while also conveying serenity through organic shapes and brushstrokes. Students in this class will learn basics of color mixing in this almost monochrome palette, as well as how to use a reference photo to replicate images on canvas.
