Join us for a still life series in watercolor at the Lake Mansion! Over 6 weeks, we will cover all the key principles of watercolor, color mixing, and color balance. You will study composition, shading, cool and warm colors, shadow, and reflection. The class will use step-by-step methods so that you will be prepared to create watercolor masterpieces of your own after the series! Artists of all experience levels are encouraged to join.

This class will be held in the Pavilion, in the building adjacent to the Lake Mansion. Park in our free lot off Arlington Avenue and walk up the stairs, the Pavilion is on your right.

In this four-week series, each session will guide you through the foundational techniques of mark-making, blending, and how to create depth, value, and texture. By the end of the course, you’ll build confidence in layering, shading, and finishing complete works. This class is suitable for all levels of artist! All supplies included.
