In this month’s acrylic painting class, we will be painting the iconic Maynard Dixon painting, “Desert Journey.” With step-by-step instruction from our Teaching Artist, each participant will learn acrylic painting skills like sketching, color mixing, & painting from reference, and will end the class with a gorgeous western landscape of their own. This painting is suitable for all levels of acrylic artist and will be done on 16×20″ canvases, ready to hang at home!
All supplies included. This is a step-by-step class, so please arrive by the stated start of class; late arrivals may miss steps that can’t be revisited.
Ages 14 and up.

This class will be held in the Pavilion, in the building adjacent to the Lake Mansion. Park in our free lot off Arlington Avenue and walk up the stairs, the Pavilion is on your right.
