The blank canvas makes me believe I can create the world I dream of after finishing the painting. I try to encourage my students to think the same. I was born in Lugansk, Ukraine, at the time of the Soviet Union in its prime. I had no formal Art education in Ukraine. Russian Art History was part of my education in History at the University of Ukraine. I grew up in an artist’s family, my grandfather was a good sculptor, but I did not get to provincial art until I was older. I began the study of visual art at the Academy of Art University in the fall of 2004, for my Master’s degree. In the summer of 2006, I went to Russia, to the most famous Academy of Art, by Repin, in Saint Petersburg. I studied with Ivan Vituk and Konstantin Grachev in Saint Petersburg. The possibility to see the work of many Masters in the Academy’s Museum and studying with young and talented Russian teachers improved my ideas about art. I graduated with a Master's in Fine Art from the Academy of Art, San Francisco. The subject of my work is people. Most of my paintings are done from life. At the present time, the style of my work is a mix of impressionism and realism. Maybe my approach to painting will change in a couple of days or a couple of years, but the major principles of painting: drawing, composition, values, temperature, light in color, and edges would go with my brush. Heather Boni has over 13 years of experience teaching, directing, and leading inclusive education workshops, arts integration strategies, and community engagement practices. As an accomplished Arts and STEAM Educator, Boni enjoys building "community" through arts, education, and sharing her love of learning. Boni was awarded a Masters of Fine Art s degree in Dance Choreography and Performance, with specialized studies in Community Art s Engagement at Florida State University. Boni earned her Bachelor of Science Degrees in Dance and Psychology from the University of Idaho. Currently, Boni serves as the Family Placement and Tutor Services Director at College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors | Reno. Previously, Boni served as the 21st Century Project Director for the United Cerebral Palsy of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida providing over 180 students (K-5) with and without disabilities with hands-on, engaging academic enrichment, personal wellness, and performing art s opportunities. Prior to this Boni worked as an Art Integration Specialist in Orlando, Florida and as a Kennedy Center Teaching Art ist and Camp Broadway Lead with The Smith Center. Boni has collaborated with professional integrated dance companies (AXIS Dance Company), international multidisciplinary art ists, and produced inclusive art events and festivals including IMMERSE Art s Festival in Orlando, Florida and the 1st Annual A New Definition of Dance in Tampa, Florida. Boni continues to provide professional development workshops and inclusive art s programming and serves as an active member in the Reno community as a Teaching Artist for Arts for All Nevada, a volunteer at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts, Remote Teaching Artist for The Smith Center of the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Service Chairman Board Member for KAO Alumnae Group, DAR Member, Mayflower Society Committee Member, and other volunteer endeavors.

Alison Tomei is an intuitive artist, Certified Creatively Fit Coach, and Spiritual Practitioner. She received her Spiritual Life Coaching certification through Emerson Theological Association in 2018. Her background in healing arts includes 20 years experience as a massage therapist and energy healer as well as shamanic practitioner training. Alison is a natural teacher and her empathic nature and sensitivity make her an effective coach and therapist. Alison believes that creativity is a powerful tool that can be used for connection, stress reduction, problem solving and personal evolution as well as healing trauma and assisting in times of transition.She has developed a creative life coaching program combining the power of art making with life coaching for emotional wellness, strengthening intuition, expansion of possibility thinking and to discover our unique gifts and potential for a purposeful life.

Karrie Wilhite’s interest in the world of art began at a young age, and was inspired by her environment growing up in Northern California. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Design from the University of California in 1997, and went on to work in the field of Interior Design and Architecture in San Francisco for several years. In 2005 Karrie moved abroad to Istanbul, Turkey, where she exhibited her work in mixed media collage at a local gallery. In Turkey, she created art based on the places and people she encountered from day to day while teaching English in an international school. After moving to Nevada in 2015, Karrie began focusing on watercolor, and received her Nevada Educator License as a teacher of Art and ESL. Karrie also holds a Masters of Science in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and enjoys integrating elements of literacy, culture and language into her art lessons.
