Wednesdays: February 16, February 23, March 2, & March 9. 4 pm-5:30 pm.
During this 4-session class, students (ages 9-12) will learn how to improve their drawing skills with a focus on human anatomy. This in-depth class will cover proportions and structure of the human body, understanding how movement affects structure, and how to render the effects of perspective on our perception in a 2D format. Students will work on their observation skills, how to distinguish shapes and gestures to build dynamic character drawings.
Arts for All Nevada will provide each student with their very own sketchbook, along with all other needed supplies. Assignments will be given in-between classes.
Students are encouraged to bring some of their own works during the first session, so our teaching artist can best assess their skill level and needs.
