Arts for All welcomes volunteers who love to learn new things, meet new people, and more importantly, make a difference by using their knowledge and skills enriching others lives while enriching their own. Opportunities are available for “one-time”, monthly or weekly commitments.
Arts for All also works with service organizations and corporate/foundation volunteer teams. For more information, call our Administrative Assistant at 775-826-6100 ext. 2#.
Administrative Support…you provide much needed office and clerical support including word processing, preparing bulk and school mailings, distribution of printed materials, research, special projects and more.
Lake Mansion Tour Support...you are part of the “face” of Arts for All and need a welcoming personality. Duties could include greeting individuals visitors to the Lake Mansion and leading groups of children and adults on a guided tour. Training is provided.
Hands-on Art Support… you like the arts and interacting with children and adults. Join us for our annual “Youth Art Month Festival” in March “Rich in Arts Family Festival” in July, and “The Lake Mansion Jingles with Art and History” for the holidays. If you enjoy working more with adults, assist with a Paint and Sips or a Paint You Pet. There are many additional opportunities throughout the year where we can match you with the volunteer opportunity.
Hands-on Lake Mansion Support…you like cleaning and maintaining a historic mansion “Reno’s First Address” built in 1877 and listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places.
Exhibition Support…you like art and are part of a team responsible for labeling and exhibiting artwork in Arts for All’s “Art Access Gallery” and for special exhibits.
Hospitality, Event and Presentation Support… you like planning and assisting at Arts for All and Lake Mansion special events and fundraisers. If you enjoy public speaking to individuals or a group you may “man” an exhibit booth or inform others about Arts for All and the Lake Mansion.
Internships…Arts for All and the Lake Mansion offer unpaid internships. If you are interested in arts education, historic preservation, museum studies, or non-profit administration please send us your resume, your availability and area of interest.
Specialty Support… you have a talent that we could use! Photographer, Handyman/woman, Carpenter, Electrician, Plumber, Heating/Air professional, Painter, Marketing, Information Technology and more. The Lake Mansion and Arts for All will put your talents to use.
