Our current funding priorities are:

  • Funding for art workshops in 55 special education classrooms, 33 schools in Washoe and Carson City school districts for students who have disabilities in Kindergarten – 12th grades.  Each workshop costs $80.  Unfortunately, this program is being cut from 1000 workshops each year to 500 due to cuts at the federal level.  Each donation increases the number of workshops Arts for All Nevada is able to provide.
  • Operating costs for the historic Lake Mansion, built in 1877 and listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places. Arts for All Nevada owns and operates the Lake Mansion providing free tours, the “Art Access Gallery” with artwork created by artists who have a disability, and the “Art Happens Here” studio with workshops/camps that are offered year-round and are open-to-the-public.  The mansion was donated to Arts for All.  Continuing expenses include utilities, maintenance, and an emergency fund for repairs.
  • Arts for All Nevada provides up to 100% scholarships for art workshops/camps for children and adults based on need.  Each scholarship provides a child or adult an opportunity to experience the visual/performing arts.
