Built in 1877 and owned by the founder of Reno, Myron Lake, the mansion is one of the few residences in the area listed on State and National Registers of Historic Places open-to-the-public to explore.
The main floor features family furniture pieces, antiques, kitchen equipment (take a guess what these items were used for) and an Art Gallery (library and master bedroom). During July, Arts for All Nevada is featuring Creativity Explored: Abilities in Art with artwork created by adults attending weekly free AFAN art workshops for adults who have a disability.
The mansion, adjacent enclosed Garden Pavilion and Courtyard are available for YOU to rent for your special event or meeting. The tour is the perfect time to check it out!
