EVENT : Reno’s 148th birthday!

EVENT DATE: May 9th, 2016 from 11 AM – 2 PM, birthday candles lit at High Noon! Arts for All Nevada, a non-profit organization that owns and operates the historic Lake Mansion, will conduct guided tours from 11 AM – 2 PM with a 148th birthday celebration at High Noon. The Lake Mansion built in 1877 and listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places is located at 250 Court St. at Arlington Ave., Reno, one block south of the Truckee River. Celebrate with birthday cake, guided tours, Myron Lake (the founder of Reno), an exhibit of vintage equipment, hats and a free book for each child. In addition to the event on May 9th, to commemorate May as National Historic Preservation Month, guided tours of the Lake Mansion will be available weekdays (Monday – Friday) at noon. NOTE: A ½ page flier is attached with additional information.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: Arts for All Nevada is a statewide, not-for-profit and non-governmental organization conducting over 3,000 art workshops each year throughout Nevada. Arts for All Nevada was incorporated in 1986 with a mission to provide arts access for ALL.
